Languagesamples.com highly recommends Easy Report Pro for very fast, consistent and professional report writing. They are easy to reach, very responsive and have made a very robust system for streamlining report writing. I use it for all my reports, including bilingual reports. It's flexible and customizable, but If you don't want to do any work customizing, its ready to go the minute you open it. The link above will take you to the sign up page and with that link you will receive two months free. If you use Easy Report Pro it has a template for It so that's all done for you.
If you are using other software or WORD, eventually you get to a place where you can copy and paste verbiage or images. Once you have the small table that the calculator produces, copy and paste that directly to your report. You can just do the table or just the bell curves, or both.
If not using Easy Report Pro, you could use this short paragraph that introduces the SUGAR:
Sampling Utterances and Grammatical Analysis-Revised
This criterion referenced measure compares the student to children of the same age. The criterion to meet is to score better than 2 standard deviations below the mean. John's scores are as follows for parameters of sample size, mean length of utterance, words per sentence, and clauses per sentence.
After that paragraph I paste the Image of the table, like this:
Sampling Utterances and Grammatical Analysis-Revised
This criterion referenced measure compares the student to children of the same age. The criterion to meet is to score better than 2 standard deviations below the mean. From a 50 utterance sample size, Dayana's scores are as follows for parameters of total number of words, mean length of utterance, words per sentence, and clauses per sentence. "Below average" indicates scores within -1 standard deviation from the mean. "Delayed" indicates scores below -2 standard deviations of the mean.
